City Growth

The Future of Lone Tree

Lone Tree has grown considerably since its incorporation in 1995 and the city has always prioritized careful and thoughtful planning during times of growth. It will be no different as Lone Tree doubles in size over the next 10-15 years and I plan to continue that mindset while maintaining the same high quality of life for the residents of Lone Tree.

There are a number of reasons why each of us have chosen to call Lone Tree “home”. I will make sure I listen to all our residents and ensure thoughtful growth, while preserving the high quality of life and continue the vision set forth in our Comprehensive Plan.

Transportation
  • As a resident and business owner, I know traffic increases significantly in Lone Tree during the day, with up to 300,000 cars traveling our streets daily! I will continue to support well planned growth that promotes smooth traffic flow and multi-modal transportation resulting in reduced congestion.

  • I will address aging infrastructure working to secure funding and support of the I-25 and Lincoln Avenue interchange, also known as Advancing Lincoln Avenue. This supports everyone in our community whether they are commuting to work, school, or important life events and appointments. Safe and efficient roads are of utmost importance to me.

  • I will seek solutions that lessen traffic congestion, such as a transit hub in Lone Tree. This will offer integrated systems that aid in relieving traffic and providing safe, efficient connections.

  • While serving on City Council, I helped create a community that welcomes and supports multi-modal transportation and I will continue to further this goal as Mayor. Whether it is with additional bike lanes or safe connected paths for alternative modes of transportation, Lone Tree should remain accessible for the future generations of commuters.

Rising in the East
  • I will work to make sure Lone Tree’s growth within our city is a community that expands together as one, while preserving the premier city we have today.

  • The future matters and I will make choices for Lone Tree that keep Lone Tree a desirable community for us, our kids…and all generations yet to come.

  • My goal is to keep Lone Tree a place where people can live, work, and play. Creating a diverse range of amenities from restaurants to parks, arts, and retail, enriching the overall experience for residents and visitors alike. This multifaceted environment contributes to a vibrant community and fosters a sense of well-rounded living.
