Sense of Community

Since graduating from the Citizens Police Academy with my husband, Chris, my eyes have become open to all that goes into protecting our premier city. As a former member of the Community Police Advisory Committee, I had the privilege to witness behind-the-scenes activity, therefore understanding our police department's policies and procedures. I'm proud to be part of a community where our police department bases its community policing on the T.E.A.C.H. model (Truthful, Encouraging, Accountable, Collaborative, and Humility) which I plan to utilize in my role as well. I whole-heartedly support our Lone Tree Police Department and will continue to invest in programs that build trust and connection between our residents and the officers that serve us.
Educate
-
Educating our community on safety is a priority for me, not only on how they can keep themselves and their families safe, but also on bridging the gap between residents and the police officers that protect Lone Tree.
Citizens Policy Academy
-
I am looking forward to promoting resident involvement in the Lone Tree Citizens Policy Academy, as it is an empowering experience that elevates community engagement.

I plan to support the creation of innovative programs to engage our community, such as a Teen Citizens Police Academy Program, aiming to foster a positive and constructive bond between our youth and law enforcement. By promoting collaboration, building relationships and offering educational experiences, I believe will contribute to the well-being oof our community, creating a positive ripple effect for years to come.
